The following have been selected to travel and compete for Kildare County at the Scottish
under 18 and under 20 Indoor Championships at the Kelvin Hall, Glasgow, on March 3rd,
2012.
It is anticipated that the group will travel on Friday, returning on Saturday evening, by
air from and to Dublin Airport.

The clubs of the selected athletes are requested to make flight bookings, the cost at this week’s prices will be refunded by the Co Board. Suggested flights are: outward Aer Lingus EI 3222, 10.00 am Friday, return EI 3229 9.00 pm Saturday.
This venture is part of the County Board Athlete Development programme, another main plank of which is the National Track and Field League in 2012; athletes travelling to Glasgow are expected to make themselves available for this competition, and clubs should notify them of the dates so that holidays etc can be planned around it. If any athlete is unable to make the trip please contact the undersigned as soon as possible.
The Co Board is aware that clubs are bringing some of their other athletes to this event and it would be nice if all the Kildare group could share hotel accommodation. Lisa Dixon (Le Cheile) is currently looking into accommodation, so it would help if clubs contacted her with numbers travelling – athletes and supporters – and the number of nights staying in Glasgow; this will give her a chance to look for the best terms available. We can of course make no promises outside of the County Team.
